The Clubfoot Solutions Iowa Brace was designed to help prevent the recurrence (relapse) of clubfoot, once a child’s foot has been corrected using the Ponseti method. The Iowa Brace’s unique design includes comfortable shoes attached to plastic platforms which are attached to the ends of a removable, durable plastic positioning bar (Iowa Flex Bar).

• Constructed of a breathable mesh that maximizes ventilation and provides lightweight durability
• Cushioned tongue helps prevent skin irritation on the top of the patient’s feet, and eliminates the need for third-party add-ons.
• One-of-a-kind contoured AFO insert features a cupped heel counter that stabilizes the foot to both reduce friction and promote proper usage.
• Includes Iowa Flex Bar and accessories to hold foot at either 60 degrees (clubfoot) or 30 degrees (normal foot) external rotation and 15 degrees of dorsiflexion.
• Compatible with Dobbs Spring Assist, Adjustable Spring Assist and Fixed Bars

• One pair of Iowa Brace sandals
• Two platforms (one for each side)
• Two Plugs (one for each side)
• Four screws (two for each platform)
• One Iowa Flexbar (Note:  there are 5 bar lengths: 8, 10, 12, 13 or 15 inches – the box includes the recommended bar for the chosen sandal size– see table below)
