About us
From the beginnings to present day.

C-Pro Direct exists to support medical professionals, parents and children affected by paediatric orthopaedic conditions of the lower limbs.

C-Pro Direct exists to support medical professionals, parents and children affected by paediatric orthopaedic conditions of the lower limbs.

C-Pro Direct has been supporting children, families and clinicians in the Clubfoot Community since 2005.

We support the Ponseti method of treating clubfoot, and now offer a range of bracing solutions and accessories for children with clubfoot aged 0-16 years.

C-Pro Direct has its own bracing system called the ADM Modular Bracing System.

The ADM Modular Bracing System comprises ADM AFO sandals which can be used with an External Rotation bar or with an ADM (Abduction Dorsiflexion Mechanism) at night time, and also an ADM which can be used with an AFO sandal or day time adapted shoe. The ADM is a relatively new addition to bracing options and comprises a dynamic unilateral brace for use at night time or during the day. C-Pro Direct’s state-of-the-art modular system represents a significant advancement in clubfoot treatment.

C-Pro Direct is the proud manufacturer of D-Bar Europe Ltd, the European variant of the famous Dobbs Bars.  These are the only Dobbs Bars that are compliant with European Medical Device regulations and the UK equivalent UK MDR.

C-Pro Direct is also proud to be a distributor of the Iowa Brace, an innovative, comfortable and affordable clubfoot brace developed by a University of Iowa team led by Dr Morcuende (President of the Ponseti International Association).

C-Pro Direct also provides the Black Robin Designs range of products to help parents and children better manage a variety of conditions affecting the lower limbs. These include socks specifically designed for use with any of the braces, and the DORSI Ramp, a great, child friendly aid to physiotherapy.

C-Pro Direct: The beginning...

It all began with Anthony. Prior to the 20 week scan we knew nothing of clubfoot, but then it all changed. Like 1 in 1000 parents the world over, we discovered our child had clubfeet.

Anthony was born in July 2004 with severe clubfoot, or Congenital Talipes Equino Varus (CTEV).

Our research soon led us to conclude the Ponseti Method offered the possibility of an amazing outcome – fully functional, normal looking feet without the downsides of invasive surgery.

Some months after Anthony’s treatment began all was not well with Anthony’s feet. We contacted Dr Ponseti who told us Anthony needed to be treated by a more experienced practitioner and that he should use a Dennis Browne style brace.

Once Anthony received the treatment he needed, we were eager to help as many families and parents as we could get clubfoot orthoses at an affordable price in Europe. And so C-Pro Direct began.
